How to make a fluffy Fleece Dog®
People who attended my classes all said, "wow, it's so soft!" when they touched my Fleece Dog® creation.
Not only capturing the characteristics of each type of dog, but maintaining this soft fluffy feeling is also very important for my creations.
This is why I named my creation Fleece Dog®, which has a fluffy, fleecy feeling.
Honestly, there is no definite limit to how much wool you should thread, so you may tend to continue on endlessly….
But then you just use more wool, and even though the size is the same, it feels very hard and rigid, doesn't it?
To make a fluffy Fleece Dog®, you have to keep in mind that you need to poke the needle deeply and firmly each and every time to reduce the number of needle punctures as much as possible.
By doing so, each time you poke, the wool becomes firmly entwined.
The needle has 3 levels of thickness, and you need to push it through slowly and steadily until the thinnest part has been inserted completely.
To do this, we recommended that you work on a cushion.
Create a fluffy body base using the felting needle, and then create a complete, overall clean look using the finishing needle at the finishing stage.
Why not challenge yourself to create a stuffed dog with a natural material feeling using these steps!
